This new offering will make it easier to use WordPress for eCommerce by integrating YITH WooCommerce plugins. Customers can accept payments, sell in multiple marketplaces, schedule appointments, ship customer orders, print labels, and add advanced features such as gift cards, wish lists, customer account pages, etc.
Amazon announces new services for supply chain challenges. Continuing its multi-year investment in warehousing and distribution, Amazon has launched a plan that allows retailers to use a new facility designed for large-scale product storage and automated distribution. Amazon Warehouse and Distribution is a pay-as-you-go service designed for inventory management, supply chain challenges, and operational efficiency.
BigCommerce expands crypto environment with BitPay and CoinPayments. BigCommerce has announced a partnership with cryptocurrency players BitPay and CoinPayments. BitPay allows merchants to accept a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Shiba Inu, Bitcoin Wrapped, Litecoin, XRP, and five US dollar pegged stablecoins. CoinPayments allows customers to accept real-time global payments from over 100 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin, with a minimal processing fee of 0.5%.
GoBolt offers same-day and next-day package delivery. GoBolt, the first environmentally conscious delivery network, has launched a small package delivery service in Canada and the United States – powered by an electric car in partnership with EcoCart, a sustainable technology. With its expansion into small package delivery, GoBolt will pick up, combine, process and deliver small packages from e-commerce brands. Additionally, GoBolt will offer same-day and next-day shipping in metropolitan areas, optional contactless delivery, and SMS delivery tracking and truck tracking apps.
Amazon is launching a free email marketing plan for sellers. Amazon has introduced a new feature in its customer service tool to help sellers increase their free email marketing. Marketers can now expand beyond brand followers when sending email marketing messages to their most loyal customers. Amazon Custom Audiences allows marketers to analyze the impact of their email marketing campaigns on performance and reporting metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, emails delivered, bounce rates , marketing and conversion. Custom Audiences is currently in beta. Amazon plans to make it available to all US sellers in early 2023.
